Simple/ basic tee's are so under rated.. a good basic can make an outfit instantly stylish. The important thing to remember when choosing plain basics is to get good, quality fabrics. Organic cottons are usually best or for a dressier look a silk or silk/ cotton. My favourite brands for plain pieces are Bassike and Jac +Jac. It's worth the investment...

Miss Tina Sparkles...

 

A few years ago I purchased an amazing cropped, bronze, sequined, retro blazer with pointy shoulders from Salvo's. Every time I wear it I feel transformed into my alter ego- Miss Tina Sparkles.. My jacket makes me dance better and makes me smile wider. I recommend adding some sort of sparkle to your winter wardrobe. Like Tina- your sparkles will make you dance like there is no tomorrow...

Less is more.. that's the theme of the monochrome style.. WHITE & BLACK.. it's simple, it's sexy and easy to wear. I like to add just a splash of colour with a clutch, heels or lipstick x

Superman wore a cape...

Capes are soft, easy to wear and very versatile between seasons. I wear mine over swimmers in summer, with jeans in winter and denim shorts all other seasons. Byron Bay semmed like the home of the kimono capes.. many of the brands up there did beautiful capes with amazing prints and fabrics. Goddess of Babylon was my favourite for capes! Who said capes are only for super heroes?
